Biff stroganoff

En mustig köttgryta som sägs ha fått sitt namn efter den ryske gourmanden greve Stroganov. Eftersom greven saknade tänder bad han kocken att skära köttet i små, fina bitar – vips så var en middagsklassiker född! Med färdigstrimlat nötkött är det en perfekt rätt när du har ont om tid men vill äta gott.

Gör så här

  1. Skala och hacka löken.
  2. Salta och peppra köttet och fräs i smör tills det fått fin färg. (Stek gärna i omgångar.)
  3. I med den hackade löken och stek ihop med köttet tills löken blivit mjuk.
  4. Rör i tomatpuré, senap, paprikapulver, creme fraiche och vatten.
  5. Koka upp och låt puttra i ca 5 minuter.
  6. Toppa med hackad persilja, servera med ris, en klick creme fraiche och saltgurka.

Our organic pork belly from Ragnarsson's farm is cured in a brine consisting of sea salt and water, and then hot-smoked with juniper wood chips. The bacon has a mild smoky flavour and has been sliced into slightly thicker pieces.
