Dubbelfriterade pommes

Att göra egen pommes tar lite tid men blir väldigt bra och krispigt om du friterar dem två gånger. Servera gärna med en god hamburgare och en härlig tamarindketchup. Använder du Green Fries kan du hoppa direkt till steg 3!

Gör så här

  1. Skär av ändarna av potatisen och skär dem i 1,5–2 cm tjocka stavar.
  2. Lägg stavarna i ett vattenbad i ca 4 timmar eller över natten.
  3. Låt dem torka på en handduk.
  4. Värm talgen till 150° och fritera sedan en första omgång i cirka 8–10 minuter. Lägg på en handduk igen och kyl sedan ner eller frys pommesen.
  5. Värm talgen sedan till 170° och fritera en andra omgång tills de får fin färg. Låt sedan rinna av på ett galler. Strö över lite flingsalt.
