Our lamb mince has a fat content of 15% and is characterized by a more rounded and rich flavour compared to our other lamb mince. They are cooked in a similar way and are perfect for meatballs, patties, stews or why not burgers with a fresh mango salsa? Feel free to add spices such as mint, coriander, thyme, garlic or ginger to the mince!

Our sheep don't taste like old sweaters. Since the sheep are raised in the same way as our cattle and lambs, i.e., on grass and herbs, the meat becomes naturally tender while the flavor remains mild yet characterful. The ground mutton is therefore excellent for everyday meals, while also being exciting to use for a more luxurious festive dinner.

The ground mutton is delivered vacuum-packed.

About our meat

Our mutton is organic grass-fed meat from western Sweden. We collaborate with about 10 sheep and lamb breeders, from Ed in the north to Onsala in the south. These are farms that we are proud to work with, as they focus on both quality and the welfare of animals and nature. All animals are raised on grass and herbs, which means they grow at a steady pace and the meat thus has time to become marbled, flavorful, and tender. The meat is dry-aged for 7–14 days and hand-butchered at our butchery in Uddevalla. On whole cuts (i.e., everything except minced meat), you will always find complete origin information: from which breeder the animal comes, as well as its gender, breed, and age.

Handling advice

Köttet är vakuumförpackat för bästa hållbarhet och märkt med vikt, datum och namn. För denna produkt garanterar vi en hållbarhet på minst 2 månader räknat från när du tar emot din leverans.

Rekommenderad förvaringstemperatur är -18°C för fryst kött. Tina upp i en skål med kallt vatten och förvara sen kylt i max +4°C eller tillaga direkt. Upptinat kött håller sig ca 1–3 dagar i kylen.
