Fantastic slow-cooking cut! Our lamb shoulder is tender and flavorful with a multitude of uses. It's obviously excellent for various types of stews, preferably with strong spices. Also try baking it in the oven or slicing and frying it. Or grilling it whole! You can also advantageously use lamb shoulder for "Får i kål" (lamb and cabbage stew), or braise it (simmer in a little liquid in a lidded pot) on low heat, either in the oven or on the stove. In short - the possibilities are many!

About our meat

Our lamb is organic, grass-fed meat from western Sweden. We collaborate with around 40 lamb farmers from Ekshärad in the north to Simlångsdalen in the south. These are farms that we are proud to work with, as they focus on both quality and care for animals and nature. All animals are raised on grass and herbs, which means they grow at a moderate pace, allowing the meat to become marbled, flavorful, and tender. The meat is dry-aged for 7–14 days and butchered by hand at our cutting plant in Uddevalla. On all whole cuts (i.e., everything except minced meat), you will always find complete origin information: from which farmer the animal comes, as well as its sex, breed, and age.

Handling advice

Köttet är vakuumförpackat för bästa hållbarhet och märkt med ursprung, vikt, datum och namn. För denna produkt garanterar vi en hållbarhet på minst 2 månader räknat från när du tar emot din leverans, men köttet går ofta utmärkt att använda även om bäst-före-datumet har passerat – låt därför lukten och utseendet avgöra snarare än datumet.

Rekommenderad förvaringstemperatur är -18°C för fryst kött. Tina upp i en skål med kallt vatten och förvara sen kylt i max +4°C eller tillaga direkt. Upptinat kött håller sig ca 1–3 dagar i kylen.
