Our lamb doesn't taste like wool. Since the lambs are raised in the same way as our cattle, meaning on grass and herbs, the meat becomes naturally tender while the flavor remains mild yet characteristic. Both lamb cuts and minced lamb are therefore excellent for both everyday meals and special occasions. Our Lamb Box is completely anatomical, meaning you take responsibility for all parts of the animal.
Lambs are naturally born in the spring and are ready for slaughter after the summer, having grazed outdoors. Therefore, we have the highest availability of lamb in the autumn, when they are also at their best. The lambs we have in the spring and summer are frozen lambs that were also born in the spring before, grazed in the summer, and slaughtered in the autumn.

About our meatS
Our lamb is organic, grass-fed meat from western Sweden. We collaborate with a handful of carefully selected lamb farmers, from Ekshärad in the north to Simlångsdalen in the south. These are farms that we are proud to work with, as they focus on both quality and the welfare of animals and nature. All animals are raised on grass and herbs, which allows them to grow at a natural pace, and the meat thus has time to become marbled, flavourful, and tender. The meat is dry-aged for 7–14 days and butchered by hand at our facility in Uddevalla. On all whole cuts (i.e., everything except minced meat), you will always find complete origin information: from which farmer the animal came, as well as its gender, breed, and age.

Kött är kompakt. I bilden nedan ser du hur mycket utrymme 5, 10, 20 och 30 kg tar i en normalstor frys. I nästa bild kan du se hur mycket 5 kg kött tar i ett normalstort kylskåp.
I tabellen nedan kan du se hur många middagar (1 porttion / person och middag) du kan tillaga beroende på storlek på box, baserat på hur många som finns i ditt hushåll. För en vuxen har vi räknat på 175 g kött / måltid och för ett barn 75 g kött / måltid. Detta är endast ett genomsnitt, antal gram / person kan naturligtvis variera beroende på recept och hunger.

Handling adviceS
Produkterna är vakuumförpackade för bästa hållbarhet och märkt med ursprung, vikt, datum och namn. Rekommenderad förvaringstemperatur för frysvaror är max -18°C. Tina gärna upp köttet i kylskåpet över natten eller i en skål med kallt vatten, förvara sen kylt i max +4°C. En tinad köttbit håller sig ca 1 – 3 dagar i kylen. Vid leverans kan du förvänta dig en hållbarhet på minst 2 – 3 månader.
Produkter märkta med ett bäst-före-datum går ofta utmärkt att använda även om datumet har passerat, låt därför lukten och utseendet på produkten avgöra snarare än datumet. OBS! Var noga med att skilja på bäst före och sista förbrukningdag!

Lamb mince has a naturally rich and mild flavour that is well suited for meatballs, stews, or soups. The lamb mince comes from our autumn and winter lambs, as we believe lamb tastes best when they are born in the spring and have grown on pasture during the summer.

Brisket, also known as point end brisket, is a relatively unknown cut in Sweden but immensely popular in the American South. Brisket is a fattier forequarter cut that is excellent for rubbing with plenty of spices and cooking slowly, preferably in a smoker, BBQ-style. The cut has the same texture as stewing beef and requires long cooking at low temperatures. It has a fat cap on both the top and bottom and a very rich meaty flavor. A grilling cut for the more advanced cook.
This smaller size corresponds to approximately a quarter brisket and consists of the "point" muscle.
Note! Brisket should not be confused with Oxbringa, which is a completely different cut.

Tenderloin, ribeye, and sirloin. In our Premium Box, we've included the most tender cuts of our grass-fed beef. It's a perfect box for those who enjoy a grilled ribeye, a rare sirloin, or a pan-fried tenderloin cooked to perfection. We believe that grass-feeding gives the meat a uniquely delicious flavor, thanks to the diverse feed and slow growth. All cuts are dry-aged for 7-14 days before butchering to further enhance the taste experience.
Aji Lemon Drop is an EU Organic certified chili sauce containing 2 types of Baccatum chili, Aji Cristal & Aji Lemon Drop. The sweet and sour fruity citrus flavor of the chili peppers is clearly evident in the sauce. With its fresh, clean taste, it is very suitable for fish or chicken. It is also very good in salad dressing. Heat 3/5.
