The largest (and most well-known?) cut on the lamb. Our boneless leg of lamb consists of several smaller roasts – including sirloin tip and top round – that would be too small to butcher individually. The leg of lamb is best roasted whole in the oven, tied, but it is also excellent sliced into centimeter-thick pieces and then pan-fried or grilled. It pairs particularly well with rosemary and garlic, but also sage, thyme, marjoram, and oregano.

About our meat

Our lamb is organic, grass-fed meat from western Sweden. We collaborate with about 40 lamb farmers from Ekshärad in the north to Simlångsdalen in the south. These are farms that we are proud to work with, as they focus on both quality and animal welfare and nature conservation. All animals are raised on grass and herbs, which means they grow at a suitable pace and the meat therefore has time to become marbled, flavourful, and tender. The meat is dry-aged for 7–14 days and butchered by hand at our cutting plant in Uddevalla. On all whole cuts (i.e., everything except mince), you will always find complete origin information: from which farmer the animal comes, as well as its sex, breed, and age.

Handling advice

Köttet är vakuumförpackat för bästa hållbarhet och märkt med ursprung, vikt, datum och namn. För denna produkt garanterar vi en hållbarhet på minst 2 månader räknat från när du tar emot din leverans, men köttet går ofta utmärkt att använda även om bäst-före-datumet har passerat – låt därför lukten och utseendet avgöra snarare än datumet.

Rekommenderad förvaringstemperatur är -18°C för fryst kött. Tina upp i en skål med kallt vatten och förvara sen kylt i max +4°C eller tillaga direkt. Upptinat kött håller sig ca 1–3 dagar i kylen.
