The hidden gem with a lot of potential! You encounter pork shoulder more often in stores than you think, but under names like pork stew meat or shredded pork. Our cured version is cut with rind and fat cap for maximum flavor and juiciness, and is a savory all-round favorite for both everyday meals and celebrations. For a quick weeknight savior, you can dice the meat into bite-sized pieces and fry them up into a quick hash with your refrigerator leftovers. It also enhances a classic pea soup and is excellent among all the delicacies of the Christmas buffet.

As always, we have removed the unnecessary and maximized the good – our cured pork shoulder contains only organic pork, water, and salt. Simple ingredients for fantastic flavor!

About our meat

Our pork is organic and dry-aged, and currently only comes from Erik Ragnarsson & Sofia Warefelt's farm Kärragärde (Tvååker in Halland). These are happy pigs with free access to outdoor space and organic feed, which gives the meat a wonderfully fine flavour. The meat is dry-aged for 4–5 days and butchered by hand at our butchery in Uddevalla. On all whole cuts (i.e., everything except minced meat), you will always find complete origin information: from which breeder the animal comes, as well as its breed and age.
