Brisket - ca 1,5 kg

Brisket, also known as point end brisket, is a relatively unknown cut in Sweden but immensely popular in the American South. Brisket is a fattier forequarter cut that is excellent for rubbing with plenty of spices and cooking slowly, preferably in a smoker, BBQ-style. The cut has the same texture as stewing beef and requires long cooking at low temperatures. It has a fat cap on both the top and bottom and a very rich meaty flavor. A grilling cut for the more advanced cook. This smaller size corresponds to approximately a quarter brisket and consists of the "point" muscle. Note! Brisket should not be confused with Oxbringa, which is a completely different cut. Packaging & total weight The delivery may consist of fewer or more packages than the number ordered, but always with the correct total weight.

Pot roast

Rich stewing meat. If you're looking to make your own pulled beef, this is the perfect cut! The chuck roast has a rich, well-rounded meaty flavour and is excellent for boiling, braising, or roasting in the oven. Porter roast, goulash, chili, or tjälknöl (frozen roast) are also some classic recipes that can be advantageously prepared from chuck roast. Household box, nut

Our Household Box is a perfect basic box for those who enjoy bulk cooking and meal prepping! The box is filled with 5 kilos of flavourful, grass-fed beef, including cuts for stewing, oven roasting, and minced beef. The exact distribution of contents in your box depends on what we currently have in stock – in other words, a good and simple way to take anatomical responsibility! By freezing meat that we occasionally have in excess, we take this responsibility, and that's where the Household Box comes in. The content of the box will therefore always vary depending on our stock levels, and sometimes it may even disappear from the range, which, on the other hand, means that we have collectively succeeded in taking our anatomical responsibility!

Cookbook

Organic grass-fed beef that will add flavor to your slow-cooked dishes. The box contains outside round, arm roast, stewing beef, bottom round, and chuck roll. The larger box also includes a top round. You will also find the somewhat rarer cut of beef brisket, which is excellent for curing and boiling, or for slow-baking in a clay pot, rubbed with spices.

Round of beef

Delicious roast. As it comes from the hindquarter, the silverside has relatively more connective tissue and therefore needs to be cooked for a bit longer. However, connective tissue in itself is not a negative thing; in fact, if prepared correctly, it can contribute significantly to a rich flavor. The silverside is located between the topside and the outside flat, and several smaller roasts can be cut from it. It also works perfectly as a whole roast; the trick is to cook it at a relatively low temperature. If you buy 2 packages or more, you get a 10% discount. Outside flat

A firm and lean pot roast. If you're craving kebab, thinly sliced beef outer thigh is the best to use. Beef outer thigh is best in smaller pieces in a stew, and then requires a slightly longer cooking time. In stores, beef outer thigh is often sold under the names ox roast or beef roast. If you buy 2 packages or more, you get a 10% discount Packaging & total weight: The delivery may consist of fewer or more packages than the number ordered, but always with the correct total weight.

Short Ribs

Rich and flavourful! For those who want to dive deeper into BBQ cooking, short ribs are an excellent cut. The slow grass-feeding gives, just like all our products, a flavourful meat with a high fat content. Short ribs are located on the animal's brisket and are best prepared by slow cooking in a smoker or oven, for a flavourful meat that easily falls apart into delicious strands when ready. Shin of beef

A very flavorful cut of beef that is excellent for cooking in both stews and ovens. Beef shank is slices of bone from around the knee joint of a bovine animal. The pieces also include bones, which gives dishes cooked with beef shank incredibly deep flavors. Perfect for use in a rich ossobuco! Beef brisket

Beef brisket, also called beef plate, is our fattiest cut and is for those who love fat, slow-cooked meat with a lot of flavor! The brisket is located around the animal's ribs and is just like pork belly – layers of fat and meat. The fat content naturally varies, and the fat left over after cooking can be advantageously saved and used to fry meat and vegetables. Note! Oxbringa should not be confused with Brisket, which is a completely different cut. Round of beef

Between the topside and silverside is the flavorful eye of round. The secret behind its rich flavor is, among other things, that the cut is rich in connective tissue, but it requires loooong cooking at a low temperature for the flavors to be released.

Oxtail

The tail, just like the cheek, is a very flavorful part of the animal that requires a longer cooking time. It is excellent for boiling in water and spices to make a clear oxtail soup. The tail can vary in fat content, and sometimes it can be a good idea to trim off some of the surface fat before cooking. Beef cheek

As the name suggests, beef cheek comes from the cheek of the cow. It is a coarse-fibred and very flavourful part of the animal that requires a little extra care and time in preparation. The cheek is suitable for boiling or braising. It can be used instead of chuck or other stewing meat in dishes like chili, goulash, and boeuf bourguignon. Keep in mind that you'll need to double or even triple the cooking time, and it's also a good idea to marinate the meat in spices and wine for a day or so before cooking. Round of beef

Really good cold cut. The roll, located between the top and outside round, contains, much like the brisket and chuck, a fair amount of connective tissue. This makes it suitable for dishes with longer cooking times, such as 'tjälknöl' (cured and slow-cooked meat). Packaging & total weight The delivery may consist of fewer or more packages than ordered, but always with the correct total weight.

Chuck roll

Melt-in-your-mouth tender stewing beef. Something often forgotten is that chuck is by far the most flavorful part of the animal. This is partly due to the fine marbling, but also because the cut has a lot of membranes and connective tissue which, with long cooking, breaks down and releases flavor. When this happens, the piece of meat has transformed into melt-in-your-mouth tenderness. Packaging & total weight The delivery may consist of fewer or more packages than the number ordered, but always with the correct total weight.

Grilled pieces

Small, tender pieces from the whole animal. "Grillbitar" (grilling pieces) are not an actual cut of meat, but rather small pieces that are tender enough to be suitable for outdoor cooking in summer, for example, on a grill or a muurikka. The meat consists of trimmings from the whole animal, primarily from sirloin, ribeye, beef tenderloin, tip sirloin, chuck, and roast beef, and is cut into pieces weighing approximately 50–150g. Shredded beef

Make a quick stew! Our shredded beef comes from several different cuts, such as stewing beef, silverside, topside, and chuck steak. It is cut into strips of approximately 4-5 x 2 cm. Therefore, it does not need as long to cook as, for example, stewing beef, and is excellent for use in a quicker stew or a wok. Brown it well on high heat before cooking for more flavour and richness in your dish.   Packaging & total weight   The delivery may consist of fewer or more packages than the number ordered, but always with the correct total weight.
