Our Household Box is a perfect basic box for those who enjoy bulk cooking and meal prepping! The box is filled with 5 kilos of flavourful, grass-fed beef, including cuts for stewing, oven roasting, and minced beef. The exact distribution of contents in your box depends on what we currently have in stock – in other words, a good and simple way to take anatomical responsibility! By freezing meat that we occasionally have in excess, we take this responsibility, and that's where the Household Box comes in. The content of the box will therefore always vary depending on our stock levels, and sometimes it may even disappear from the range, which, on the other hand, means that we have collectively succeeded in taking our anatomical responsibility!

About our meat

Our beef and lamb are organic, grass-fed meats from western Sweden. We collaborate with around 40 cattle and lamb breeders, from Ekshärad in the north to Simlångsdalen in the south. These are farms that we are proud to work with, as they focus on both quality and care for animals and nature. All animals are raised on grass and herbs, which allows them to grow at a natural pace, and the meat thus has time to become marbled, flavorful, and tender. The meat is dry-aged for 7–14 days and hand-cut at our butchery in Uddevalla. On whole cuts (i.e., everything except minced meat), you will always find complete origin information: the breeder the animal came from, its sex, breed, and age.

Kött är kompakt. I bilden nedan ser du hur mycket utrymme 5, 10, 20 och 30 kg tar i en normalstor frys.

I tabellen nedan kan du se hur många middagar (1 portion / person och middag) du kan tillaga beroende på storlek på box, baserat på hur många som finns i ditt hushåll. För en vuxen har vi räknat på 175 g kött / måltid och för ett barn 75 g kött / måltid. Detta är endast ett genomsnitt, antal gram / person kan naturligtvis variera beroende på recept och hunger.

Handling advice

Köttet håller ca 18 månader i frysen.

Alla detaljer samt färsen i boxarna är vakuumförpackade för bästa hållbarhet.

Rekommenderad förvaringstemperatur är max +4°C för färskt kött och -18°C för fryst kött. Tina gärna upp köttet långsamt i kylskåpet över natten.

Pot roast

Rich stewing meat. If you're looking to make your own pulled beef, this is the perfect cut! The chuck roast has a rich, well-rounded meaty flavour and is excellent for boiling, braising, or roasting in the oven. Porter roast, goulash, chili, or tjälknöl (frozen roast) are also some classic recipes that can be advantageously prepared from chuck roast. Brisket - ca 3 kg

Brisket, also known as point brisket, is a relatively unknown cut in Sweden but immensely popular in the American South. Brisket is a fattier forequarter cut that is excellent for rubbing with plenty of spices and cooking slowly, preferably in a smoker BBQ-style. The cut has the same texture as stew meat and requires long cooking at low temperatures. It has a fat cap on both the top and bottom and a very rich meat flavor. A grilling cut for the more advanced chef. This smaller size corresponds to approximately half a brisket and consists of both the "point" and "flat" muscles. Please note! Brisket should not be confused with Obeef brisket, which is a completely different cut.
